23db NRR for those interested. Good for most calibers on an outdoor range, I'd recommend plugs underneath for indoor.

Good cans, good price.

I got us three sets and they were not as good as our passive peltors. they would leak sound through slight openings especially during head turns. So I'm sure they're great for most people but don't be afraid to return if you just can't get a good fit adjustment.

Personally I wouldn't think so, though I haven't used them for that. These muffs amplify sounds like talking and other ambient noises but reduce the sonic crack of bullets being fired. I think standard earplugs or muffs would be better.

Thanks, repped. I got another pair for my wife. I had the green ones and they are amazing.

I would think so. I use a pair for my daughter at the movie theater, dampens the sound and she can adjust the volume so that the sound is comfortable for her.

No. These will not make music sound good. There are noise reducing ear plugs that only lower volume without sacrificing sound specifically made for concert and clubs. Look for Hifi ear plugs. Personally, I use one of those under these headsets when I go indoor shooting as it still lets in voice as supposed to earplugs that muffles sound all across.

I would use something like this when hearing music as intended without sacrificing quality. Also doesn't look weird with big headphone and just disappears in your ear. https://a.co/d/28hzwml

I have an earlier model of these. It's the only pair of electronics I've ever used. I like the adjustable volume.
I paid about $40 for mine which I thought was a decent price at the time. I have yet to change the battery. Had them since 2021, but I only use them about an hour or so at a time.

I second this. Not quite enough for an indoor range.

Fully agree. Wife and I each use these. We both double up indoors.

Would these be good for carpentry noise too? I'm looking for something that would dampen a running saw but still let me hear people talking. The ones I have cut out the passthrough entirely when noise gets above a certain level and while that's great for hearing protection it doesn't do much for safety.

How well do these amplify for hunting or animal movement? I'm not a regular target shooter so usually just wear plugs or an old pair of sound muffs when shooting but would try these out if they would help me hear better in the woods. I'm probably asking too much out of these?

I got these from Sam's club couple weeks ago for the same price. They also had green and grey colors available
