Not the best deal to Japan but maybe your company is sending you there on business? Why not use a code to save them money.

I went last October (800$ round trip LA-HND) and considered changing dates and it was not allowed at all. No change, no cancellation, no exceptions
if I could fly LAX to HND for United prices on ANA aircraft I will do it 100% of the time.
the pricing is dynamic, yes, but if you were willing to pay $1000 for a RT (and ruling out ANA bc they are $1100) then this makes their product more appealing.
5-10% off current published/dynamic price is the key here, it's not 10% off a fixed price. plus all these routes are nonstop, and in the case of some markets with less capacity (DFW-TYO) or high volume routes (NYC-TYO) *any* discounts are welcomed.
Asian airlines love to hire only good looking, young women, and yes, this is great eyecandy, this is the TROOF Slickdeals, stop deleting my two comments above. Yes, its related to the airline and informative. Ha!
ANA partners with United and flight from IAH to NRT is horrible with old men services... just on a trip last week. They need to fix this.
