The sledge with a fiberglass handle is even cheaper. FWIW I prefer a fiberglass handle.

I'll give the deal a TU since it's a lifetime guaranteed Estwing... but, note, this is the Estwing made in India, and not USA.

Are they noticeably different? I'm going to assume yes 🫤

Setting aside the fact that I like to support American companies and American workers (when they make very high quality products, ofc) - I would just say that Estwing reserves their premium hammers/sledges/mallets under their American-made line. All of that said, everything Estwing makes should be very high quality.

Yeah, all of my claw hammers and brick hammers and mini sledges are all US made estwing from my supply houses but I've got a crappy Cobalt sledgehammer I wouldn't mind replacing.

What kind of jobs can make one realize the quality difference between Estwing sledge hammer made in US vs India? Just curious.

I have a 2lb Estwing shawty already and it is been wonderful. What weight of these longer ones would be a good hammer of all trades to have around? 5lbs? 6lbs? 7lbs?

Just bought the 10lb mace in the other thread. Maybe I'll pick up this to dual wield.
