Someone mentioned lying about your home address may be problematic as your address is tied to your credit card. However, another commenter said they lied about their address and was successful. I don't know what to think. Not sure why Sam's wants to lose business with these weird restrictions.

I havent had a sams membership in like 2 decades. Is it worth it to get at this price? Ive already got a costco membership so wondering if it's any different

Some items they charge for shipping and delivery. Lol and then more if you're just this lower tier member.

Guess the major plus side is that you don't have to deal with Costco mobs / riots haha. The self scan and go is pretty efficient.

My current membership is about to expire next month. I just signed up successfully using a different number and email, but same address. It's been less than an hour so I'll update if it gets cancelled. All good so far though.

Update: been a couple days and no cancellation. Received the welcome email after I signed up on Friday. It looks like it will go through for current members with a new phone # and email.

Same for me. Have tried just about every iteration of personal information that I can with no luck. Immediately tells me my information is from a current member. Guess I'm done with them. Seems really not smart on their end.

Isn't that voucher worthless? If it was an actual sam's gift card that's one thing, but the travel and entertainment voucher is basically like having groupon or entertainment.com credit.

Can confirm that it doesn't work for the same address, phone number and email. I was able to successfully create new membership using different information. Cannot say about CC should have the same billing address though. I use privacy.com cards, it gives an option to generate random virtual CC with any billing address.

So, just sign up with a different address. Then once the account is created, switch it back. OR, switch the address on the old account and use your real address on the new account may also work. Just switch everything on your old account, possibly.
