I saw this yesterday and it was actually a really good movie. Solid work from the leads and some great cinematography. For a 2hr and 25min movie about a nun it was not at all dry or boring. I am not religious and was quite entertained by this film. It may be my favorite film of the year so far…and I have seen Dune Part II, Beekeeper, Panda 4, The Holdovers, Argyle, Ordinary Angels, and Land of Bad.

Technically, you can get the free tickets. Go to the theater. Change your mind. Then exchange them at the counter for a different movie. The theater does not care what movie you see. As long as they get paid. Exchanging the tickets gives an accurate credit to the one you see as far as box office receipts. Totally legit.

The original Blade Runner is definitely in my top 20 list of all time great movies and yet I couldn't stand Blade Runner 2049.

I found both blade runners boring. I couldn't stand the original dune, and the remake part 1 was boring at the theater, but I enjoyed it more at home last week.

Usually these are poorly rated movies at a theater 2 hours away from me. This time it's a well-rated movie and showing only 30 min away. :o Thanks OP.

Get the free tickets. If you get to the theater and "change your mind" and the tickets are in hand you can exchange them prior to the showtime on them.

Just tell them at the ticket Kenner you need to exchange the tickets for a different movie. You can pick any movie. Choose the time. It doesn't even have to be the same day.

Interesting... my son (at age 16 or so) and I both really enjoyed Blade Runner 2049 on my OLED and Atmos sound system. Really liked Dune as well but haven't seen Dune II yet. I usually wait for streaming or 4K UHD disc.
