I saw this yesterday and it was actually a really good movie. Solid work from the leads and some great cinematography. For a 2hr and 25min movie about a nun it was not at all dry or boring. I am not religious and was quite entertained by this film. It may be my favorite film of the year so far…and I have seen Dune Part II, Beekeeper, Panda 4, The Holdovers, Argyle, Ordinary Angels, and Land of Bad.
Use code ATOMCABRINI for 2 free tickets, just add seats to your cart and drop in the code on the checkout page. Warning: it's a spiritual film from the same director of Sound of Freedom. I'm using my tix for free AMC points, but what you do is up to you.

Does this mean you can bank your points towards watching a movie you really want to see? What % of a movie you want is this movie worth? Is it a 1:1 ratio?
Also the namesake of Cabrini Rowhouses in chicago which lead to the naming of "Cabrini Green". Chicago also is home to the national shrine of St Frances Cabrini. Interesting place and some cool architecture.
Accidently stumbled on it one day a few years ago and learned some history when I randomly decided to pop my head in while on a walk.
I enjoyed this movie, recommend it. The acting wasnt as bad as I expected from an Angel Studios productions, if you have seen the Sound of Freedom or some of their other productions you may know what I mean. For what its worth, i expected a deeply religious movie but didn't really leave feeling like it was strictly a movie which reolved around religion. I in fact felt like the religious aspect was really an afterthought of the movie, aside from the fact that she is indeed a nun.

I got by at a basketball game a few weeks ago with a drawstring bag. I told the security it was a purse. The college age guy, 20 years younger, just gave me a what's that you say look? So, I shrugged and gave the universal, come on man, am I right?! It's a purse.
I didn't have to explain the; can a dude not bring a nearly empty bag in with 2 waters and a couple protein bars? But a woman can bring a 10# bag full of who knows what? Once he heard me the second time, he figured it out and was passing thru. The older lady was ushering me to move along too.
I got to keep, the it's a European carry all line and my, dude, I've got cancer card and it's for health purposes for next time.
I saw it Sunday .Thought ,I would fall asleep ,like i did before with movies with this theme .Surprisingly ,i was so engaged that I decided to shorten my run to the toilet ! Im even planning to see it again this weekend .It been ages that ive seen a flick twice !

I saw it and Cabrini is a legit good film. It is a great film to take and show your daughters if you have any. Very inspirational and shows how much you can get accomplished with pushing for what you really believe in. Great movie for religious folks or not.

It is the story of a nun called Frances Xavier Cabrini.
She is known around the world for creating hospitals and orphanages.

It is a well crafted movie that I feel is actually Oscar worthy. (but being released in March I assume it will be forgotten come next year)
2 thumbs up!
