Looks like quality filament with some more unique options. So the price is above-average, but again, if you like the set, it's not bad. Cool that Costco is selling.

If you are buying on Amazon, or want a nice reference tool. FilamentHound has been great:

https://filamenthound.com/

Again, eBay/Aliexpress always have wild deals on filament. But Filament Hound does make viewing options and prices decently easy!

None of those deals are for decent filament. At least Polymaker makes a quality product thats consistent.

And this is for some of their higher priced items. A silk, a marble, a starlight, and a celestial. Normally these four would cost you $96 if you bought them directly.

We need them to do some Kirkland filaments that are just private label Bambu or Polymaker 💯

I think they only have two 4 spool bundles, not single spool or anything.

This really doesn't seem to be much of a good deal. You can get colored PLA for half this on various deals here that pop up every month

They will randomly have these 4 packs. Like right now there Pla Pro 4 spool bundle (white, black, red, and blue) is $48 along with this one. BestBuy now carries them and sometimes will have a decent sale also.

I bought these a while back the last time they made front page. They are really nice filaments but I, by far, like the marble white above the other colors. It's perfect for printing replicas of marble statures, and since that color has a matte finish, it helps hide layer lines.

They also have regular PLA discounted from $60 to $48: https://www.costco.com/p/-/polyma...?langId=-1

I think both of these bundles were $50 each around Christmas.

I've been using filament I get for 6 to 8 bucks a spool for years, and never had trouble with it after drying. You can get "decent" filament for cheaper than this. These are some pretty colors though, I agree this is a good price if you want the fancy colors.

So because you haven't used the Chinese brands you're calling them not decent? There's thousands of people that would beg to differ that the quality difference is near non-existent apart from the fact it may need to be dried. Maybe try some!

These filaments are made in the USA.

Even more to this point, some of these "not decent" filaments are just rebranded plastic from the same manufacturers who spool the "quality" name brand filament... so talking crap about one while praising the others is kind of silly.

As for me, I've gone though probably 50 spools of the various AliExpress brands with little to no issues and great quality in general. They also often ship just as far as Amazon prime, at least from the US warehouses.
