the 3080 is the better deal, more than 20% better performance for about 18% more money. Both have 800W power supplies so can be upgraded in the future.

Okay, why should I not pull the trigger on the 3080 version? My build from 2013 with a 1070 upgrade over the years is really getting rough and it can't be upgraded past Windows 10.
