Notice the difference in wording between this and the Office Depot Chase offer. On the Office Depot Chase offer, it says "Earn 5% cash back on all of your Office Depot purchases, until a $5.50 cash back maximum is reached."
However, on this offer, it says "Earn 10% cash back on your The Home Depot purchase, with a $54.00 cash back maximum." And then it also says later "Offer valid One time only." (which it did not say by the Office Depot offer).
So it seems very clear that this will only work on your first purchase, and not multiple purchases.
Thanks! I was looking for this information.
I purchased $500 digital gift card, and it now shows I saved $50. So for those who wonders if you need digital vs physical card, digital works

interesting data point, I didn't have this in my one and only Chase CC when the thread was first posted but when I checked today it's there. Still no Staples for me though. However, this makes me now want to check every week for something that might be useful.
When it states "offer valid one time only" what does that mean?
1. 10% off for all purchases till I reach the $54 max discount/credit, or
2. 10% off one time for up to $54 max? So if I make a $100 purchase, I get $10 and lose out on the remaining $44?
Just trying to prepare my first order properly to maximize the savings. There are several things I need for the backyard but if I don't have to buy it all now and store it, I'd rather do it bit by bit while I can.

Is number two, 10% of your one time purchase and offer will disappear.

Same situation for me @ HD. Not there originally, but now is. AFTER placing online orders (of course). Cancelled 2 of my 3.
I, too, wonder: does the offer extend through multiple orders until the $54 max is met, or does it have to be in one shot? Language seems a bit ambiguous. Hmmmm

It clearly said purchase. I wouldn't chance it.

They denied my cashback, even though I passed with all of their parameters.
