Notice the difference in wording between this and the Office Depot Chase offer. On the Office Depot Chase offer, it says "Earn 5% cash back on all of your Office Depot purchases, until a $5.50 cash back maximum is reached."

However, on this offer, it says "Earn 10% cash back on your The Home Depot purchase, with a $54.00 cash back maximum." And then it also says later "Offer valid One time only." (which it did not say by the Office Depot offer).

So it seems very clear that this will only work on your first purchase, and not multiple purchases.
Thanks! I was looking for this information.
I purchased $500 digital gift card, and it now shows I saved $50. So for those who wonders if you need digital vs physical card, digital works

Quote from EdenMan :
Purchased $300 physical GC's from one merchant on 4/9. Have yet to receive the cards, but the Chase Offer showed it in Redeemed, with the cashback offer of $0.11. The redeemed date showed 04/04, and no purchase on that date. Wtf? That amounts to only $1.1 purchase. The transaction is still pending though.
What do you mean one merchant?
The merchant is HomeDepot.com
Anyway, I purchased $425 in eGift cards (4x $100 Home Depot eGift cards + $25 Burger King eGift card).
Home Depot splits the one purchase into 5 separate transactions.
So, I will likely have to call Chase.
There are reports of this happening to other people.
Very very deceitful practice by Home Depot.
I am not doing another of these offers.
Weasels.

So chase sez this offer expires 4/14, and I check my accounts this evening, and its marked expired. What the hell time zone are they on? I'm on Eastern, they must be based in Jolly Ole England. Anyone have any luck/pointers on how to contest these things with Chase, or is it like, suck it up buttercup, our game, you lose...

Edit: or does the expiration date mean 12.00AM 4/14 and its been dead all day? They usually mark the things, "one day left" and "last day". What kind of date accounting is that? Whatever they are doing with their dates, it sucks, and I'm not taking any chances. I was planning on ordering stacks of gift cards tonight but this thing is pretty dodgy so far.

Well this sucks. I made the purchase on 4/13 but Chase didn't reflect the charge until 4/16 (two days after offer expiration). I've got the email receipt to prove the purchase but I have little faith that Chase will make it right.
