You don't have to be samsung employee. It's called EPP which is available to many employers. You can sign up for AAA and get same discount.

Not a good tv. Entry level, 60hz refresh rate. I believe this one is the same model or very similar. https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews...q60cd-qled

Seems like a pretty decent deal. I have a Q60B and it's PQ is really pretty decent, even in HDR. Clearly this won't impress too much vs the higher tier Samsungs, etc, but it's a good name brand 70" QLED for just over $500.

60hz is good enough for most streaming services like Netflix, Amazon prime, HBO MAXX, Hulu, etc... especially at this size. Have this and have been happy with it, paired with Q series sound bar with surround. Not even 25% of content I watch would demand a OLED or mini-LED TV selling for around 2k.

Right? I'd bet $2 many of the snobs saying a TV isn't good enough spend 90% of their time watching YouTube videos.

I bought 65" version of it for the same price last black Friday and I'm totally satisfied with it; it's definitely worth every penny and more. Samsung shipped it by RXO and RXO delivery personals delivered till inside the home.

Tell me you know nothing about TVs without telling me....a refresh rate of 60hz doesn't signify that a TV is no good.

Best deal I'd say I grabbed was a 55" 4k television from an Amazon lightning deal for $99. This was probably in 2021 or so.

I had 2 accounts in the household so I bought 2. 1 went in the garage and other in one of my kids rooms.

For $99 I can't complain. They look pretty good actually and I digest most of my content at my PC on an OLED.

I just upgraded this month. 2012 LG Plasmas 65 inch1080p tv that started turning itself off randomly. Got a good deal on a new 120hz lg 4k 75 inch, but I was using an old hdmi cable so I was stuck in 60hz. Watching netflix it looked amazing until there was any fast motion and then it would blur anything moving fast. It was very noticeable and very distracting. Turning on motion blur fixed this, but added artifacts around anything moving. Wife also noticed these issues and she could care less. We have some cheap rca 55 inch 4k tv's and don't notice these issues on them at all. We ended up switching to 1080p at 120hz til we got the new hdmi cable. Looks amazing now, but first time I have ever cared about the refresh rate on a tv.

60 htz is only good for non action media. So no sports either.

I finally set up my Samsung EPP through https://www.perksatwork.com/login, and I see the employee pricing now. This 70" is too big for my needs, but I can see other deals via EPP for 65" and 50" tvs

Cheap price but this isn't a good TV. Get it if you just need a display.

Which one do you think is the better value? The CU7000 75 inch or QE1C 70 inch. Both are similarly priced when checking out with EPP. I think the QE1C might have a few more features. So I guess it comes down to features vs size?

The main difference I see is Crystal Processor 4K vs Quantum Processor Lite 4K for the processing engine. Also, for HDR10, one says Yes and the other says Support. Not sure if that means anything.

They say TVs are so cheap because they actually make money off of collecting your information and then selling it to marketers.
