This thing again. This is an overpriced chimney starter. Please do not get if intended to use for BBQ purposes. This is a hot fire good for grilling steaks. But with that said this is overpriced for what it is. I love my Solo bonfire and mesa, but this is not in the same class. It's most likely why solo does not sell these grills directly anymore.

Amazon reviews are important to read. Are mixed and it seems it's a discontinued, specialized grill but has been cheaper before. Pass.

From the Q&A on Amazon:
The Grill was designed to provide an optimal experience for backyard cooking and is not designed to function as a fire pit. The Grill does not allow air to come through the top of the unit. This prevents the food from being consumed by the secondary burn, thus it would not produce an efficient, smoke-free flame like the fire pits.

Couldn't this be used as just a fire pit? It looks similar in design as their fire pits, just not as tall. I already have a bonfire, but for people that don't, this may be cheaper alternative

Honestly I am interested in this but still seems a bit on the high price side. I do own other grills/smoker/pellets/bbq so this won't be an All-in-1 use and mostly to accompany my other Solo products. Actually wouldn't mind buying one and tinkering to see if able to make more efficient.

Just seeing this. When the grill was introduced, i always thought it wasn't as flexible given limited air control, especially for the price they wanted. This is the first time I've seen it this low. Reading the comments, has it really been lower? I'm looking to replace my Weber kettle so thinking about this given the price.

How can someone tell if it was marked cheaper before? Is there a website for that

Wow! At that price it's a no brainer.

Stick with weber. You cannot offset bbq with this. This is very limited for different bbq techniques. It burns too hot.

This burns hot. I plugged some of the holes with foil plugs to reduce air flow to lower the temp. If you have the patience and enjoy the fun of figuring out how to make this work for you, go for it. I was gifted this and had fun playing around with it, but the novelty wore off.
