I understand that and I have a beam 2 + era 100s + sub mini myself I simply wanted to know where he places the move 2 in his setup to act as a vocal speaker. I thought it was an interesting way to use the speaker thats all

Using my in-laws Sonos system is the most complicated part of the Holidays. I'm not sure if they have a weird setup or I'm just Sonos illiterate.

From what I am understanding, the move is acting like a center channel for your best up, may I ask how you are accomplishing that within the setup?

I am about to purchase the arc soundbar, is that not sufficient where the speakers within it has a center channel audio separation?

Very interested in learning of your configuration

Actually I have the Arc + sub + 2xEra 100 for surrounds in my living room. My Move is a portable speaker which keeps moving around the house. When I play movies especially during night, I have to reduce the volume as I live in an apartment. But, doing this lowers the vocals even after switching on "vocal" option in Sonos app-Arc setup. So I just group the Move 2 with my Living room setup, keep it a feet or two away from the couch and keep the volume of the Move at 40-50% of the Arc setup. At lower volumes, Move 2 is very good for vocals as the bass is reduced.

I used to have a Play 3 but switched to HomePod due to the smart features. I use the HP mostly for timers, calls, controlling Hue lights and some music. I do not any to lose these features but can keep the HP in my main room along with the Move 2 if the sound quality for music will be that much better, aside from the portability. My music is more Coltrane, Bill Evans and the like. Just wondering if I will be happier.

Has anyone see this in store? I checked a local Costco and they only had the Move 1, the associated said nothing was available in store.
