I went with the extra large dog 6 month supply, best bang for buck. I'll be using a measuring syringe and using this for our small dogs.

Thanks Op, good deal. I found that the X-large dog, 6-month supply was only $52 at Walmart, compared to $64 on the Advantix page on Amazon. Bought two boxes from Walmart for our dogs.

Best per unit price is the 4 pack. Four pack of XL is $30.87 with s&s @ Amazon. I use the syringe as well for my 50# dogs @2ml per. I get 2 applications per 4 ml vial.

It's the same strength regardless of which option I choose. There are just more medicine in the XXL option? For a 23lb dog, do I split the XL (55lbs o4 above) tube into 2 applications or 3?

What is the dosage for small dogs? Do you store the remaining medicine in the fridge?

My bad. I should have mentioned it was through Walmart. The best deal I think was the 6 month supply for xl dogs through walmart.

Sorry again. I am still wrong. Subscribe and save xl 4 pack is best deal. Thanks

Amazon Basics is $29.32 S&S. Is this brand better?

$.39 per month more for the brand name. Go for the real thing.

For what it's worth, my dog once had an issue with this flea/tick prevention resulting in a pretty scary seizure. It was applied correctly as we had used it for a years on two different dogs. I've read about other occurrences like this as well. It seems to work fine, but only took one incident to say nope no more. Switched to collars 10 years ago and never looked back.

I have 2 vials of the 11 to 20 lbs left. My puppy has grown to 28lbs. Should I do 2 vials of the 11 to 20lbs on her? I was afraid of some kind of toxicity if I used 2 vials from the lower weight range for her monthly dose.

Exact same thing happened to us. Had been using this for years, then last year, approx 48 hours after applying, I woke up to the most heartbreaking sight. Fortunately, the little guy made a full recovery but I swore never again after that. I've been using natural sprays and shampoos ever since. I'm not here to advocate for it or against it, just sharing my experience.

I do similar, and use a half dose of the XL for my 35lb dog.
