    Definitely get the original. It comes with a packet of chili sauce so you can make it spicy if you want. I can only tolerate a bit of heat so I usually leave it out or add just a drop or two.

    Not much of a difference. I generally prefer lo mein and chow mein over noodle soup so I prep my instant ramen noodles to resemble these. Just cook the ramen as instructed and then drain out the water. Then add a bit of oil and about โ…“-ยฝ of the flavor packet to the damp noodles. Add hot sauce if you like. Stir and you'd have the equivalent of these noodles at a much lower price.

    Sometimes, I just stir in some Italian salad dressing for a change of pace. It has the oil and spices for one step convenience. Caesar dressing is nice too, or use Asian sesame dressing if you want to retain its original cuisine.

    Buy these if you like the convenience of having the flavor packs, including chive-flavored oil, all assembled for you. Use instant ramen if price is important. I like both.

    As you know by now, these are dry noodles. But thats not what set these apart from the other ramen brands. The Indomie features a complex flavor profile that is savory/umami, yet slightly-sweet-&-salty, and oniony (fried dry onion packet). Whereas with a lot of other brands, the main flavor profile just feels like salty. These are very delicious as far as instant noodles go, and its not uncommon to hear/see people rank these as their favorite/best instant noodles. Highly recommend!

    I'm one of those people that feels most things are still good well past their expiration date. I was surprised and sad when I had to toss a whole case of ramen away that was only a short while past date. The noodles had gone rancid. I'm guessing they sat in a hot Amazon warehouse too long. Eat'em quick!
