hi, my question pretty specific but might be helpful. I currently have a Schiit Fulla and drive Sennheiser HD6XXs on my desktop, would this be a worthwhile upgrade? Thanks in advance!

It'll def. be an upgrade but the upgrade would be marginal and not worth it imho.

It will definitely be an upgrade, in almost every way (unless you *need* the mic port on the fulla). The multibit dac in the Finale is very warm, it pairs well with Senny stuff. It's also pushing over 10x as much mW. Native DSD, HiRes and MQA support. Going to be night and day.... not to mention this price is literally insane (I can't believe they haven't sold out or went back to the retail price. They're still selling the non finale ed for full retail lol). Not to mention it gives you room to try out iems, and much more demanding headphones if you ever want to branch out. 18 possible gain settings, an analog bass boost... and though divisive the 3d plus feature (it's basically just a crossover) really brings puts you in the middle of live recordings.... And it's portable if you wanna use it away from your desk.

Based on what lol? The fulla is a distorted, low output mess. Not audiophile quality at all. It's like comparing Astro A40's to Abyss Diannas, frankly. The Fulla fills a gap in the market... something slightly better than motherboard output for gamers that gives them a place to plug in and mix a 3.5 mic input lol.... the iDsD Finale is in a totally different class.
