No way
Oh god it's back 🥵
These outperform the PB2000 pro IIRC but without the app or ability to run in sealed mode. An insane deal for $699 when the PB2000 pro is $1100.

I think so. Depends on your needs. I have a speedwoofer 10 mk2 in a 15x25 room and it's more than enough for my 5.1.2 home theater setup.

This. Not even close for the money. Not even close. Two of these if you have OCD and want to fill in room modes.

Ugh. I bought it because I missed it last time. It will be replacing a PB-1000 (non-pro). Will I notice a big improvement?

Cracked my walls...I guess in a good way. This thing puts out some floor shaking, wall shaking power. My best friend came over and said "what happened there". I did not notice the hair line crack going across the wall. If you have the smallest crack in your wall due to "settling" of the foundation, this may cause your crack to become even more pronounced. ..in a good way I guess!

This is a legit deal. I have purchased several items from adorama.com, mostly Klipsch, and all seem to be the real deal. This is the 2nd RP-1400SW I purchased for this price. I figure when I move I can sell for a small loss and will have gotten my money's worth out of the deal.

Sealed subs are technically better right?
Technically yes, they give a flatter frequency response, better transient response, and none of the issues a port creates, no phase issue. This is why some really big subs like 15s and 18s can get away with being sealed, cuz they dig deep enough to where they still have a deep bass response on their own without ports, and it becomes challenging to make small ported enclosures when dealing with massive subs that push ridiculous amounts of air. The trade off is typically lower SPL and higher excursion in a sealed sub as well as increased F3 (which can sometimes be negligible because it can be below audible range, depends on the driver, in which case not a downside imo). You can get very high SPL in ported subs. If you are in the 15" range, imo nothing to worry about if you are just getting it for a room at home, just buy what sounds and looks good, is on sale, and meets your requirements. It'll still probably exceed your expectations and you'll probably never get it to half of its power. I made myself a custom 100w 8" sub for home that I never turned up halfway because it just slammed.

I bought one RP-1400SW on this deal but haven't had a chance to really crank it. . My son was in the basement theater room watching a movie last night and I was on the 1st floor directly above the theater room laying on the couch and I was repeatedly startled by bass waves from his movie pulsing through my body. They were not subtle at all.

More output? I just set it up and holy crap this thing is amazing. Didn't know what I was missing out on. Feel my butt vibrating and a thump in my chest. Unreal. Glad I pulled the trigger on it.
