No way
Oh god it's back 🥵
These outperform the PB2000 pro IIRC but without the app or ability to run in sealed mode. An insane deal for $699 when the PB2000 pro is $1100.

I'm in ny. I'm assuming the ups driver suspected they were damaged, he mentioned he wasn't supposed to let the recipient do a thorough inspection upon delivery until signed for …. The shipping boxes had huge gashes but I couldn't see any damage until I was able to fully unbox them in the house.

Both sub enclosures have an impact puncture. One on the face of the box, one on the right side of the box.

Mine arrived today. I measured the space available and while it fits, it JUST fits. This enclosure is BIG. The box is also BIG. No damage to the box or sub for me, unlike others. I ran Dirac on my Pioneer LX355 and immediately went into testing mode with movies and music.

This 14 sounds like a monster. If you compare this sub vs the larger RP-1600SW, you'll see very similar frequency response curves. Image here: https://preview.redd.it/a96zibfj8...p&997ba707 This thing sounds like it's bigger brother the 16". All you're missing is 3 db of volume at the very extreme. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3rX9qD3BdU0 here's a video comparing the 16" vs the SVS PB16. $699 for better deep bass performance than a SVS 16 @ $2899? Glad I pulled the trigger.

Bring a friend if you don't hate your back.

That's what I'm looking for, a comparison between the 14 and the 16 of these woofers so I can truly see if the 16 is worth the extra 300 and change. But a lot of videos or information don't seem to have them.

I was demoing Blade Runner 2049 opening scene with two of these with the gain turned on to 6(out of 11) and it felt like two big floor standing fans blowing at me from 8ft away...they move so much air.

How weird/bad/stupid would it be to buy this as a second sub to pair with a 1200sw? I am pretty new with this stuff but I assume it wouldn't be ideal. I'm just tempted with this price…

You might be able to replace the 1200sw completely with the 1400sw. Just sell the 1200sw to recover some money.

I just got one of these, and I think the woofer is blown - anything below 50hz is pretty much non-existent and distorted: https://imgur.com/RQUKEXO - Anyone wants to run the same test, this is the video I used to do it: https://youtu.be/2tr9-PzJl_c?si=qWmhh9aEBjie8pN5

Got mine today. Brought it across to Canada. Holy shit this thing sounds great. Box came very slightly damaged but subwoofer and box completely perfect condition.

Tested 16hz, 20hz, 30hz, everything, sounds flawless. Could not turn gain up beyond 5 out of 11, it got way too loud and vibrated my entire tv almost off the stand. Set sub gain to +1.0 on my Sony receiver and low pass to around 110Hz. Still dialing this thing in. I won't ever need a subwoofer again.
