The point of vinyl is for the vinyl sound. If you're not going to play it what's the point? What a waste of money. I don't know about you, but I have better things to do with money. If all you want is A vinyl sleeve with the cover art on it buy a ton of blanks or 12.5"x12.5" thick cardboard stock, and go online and print away.

great record, but to pay $40 for it is insane, you can get original 1970-80s pressing for a fraction of that.

I have most of the 40th anniversary albums, but this one was missing from my collection. Thanks for posting.

People are f—kin dumb dude, what can you say. They'll justify it one way or the other, just to make excuses. But the saving grace for this vinyl "deal", it's f—kin Rush.

HEMISPHERES
The BEST Rush album EVER!

Don't get me wrong...the 2 albums that followed, were also FANTASTIC.

I stupidly passed up a single free ticket to the Hemispheres tour for their Austin show.
One of my BIGGEST regrets.
I made sure to see the Permanent Waves tour though. They played all the songs off of Hemispheres. Even all of Cygnus X-1 Book II.
Great memories from that show.
RIP Neil Peart.

Recent study I saw said 60% of people that buy vinyl don't even own a record player. They just think it's cool.

$10 in 1983 is worth $31.16 today

People who think vinyl is too expensive never factor in inflation. It's not 1983 anymore bro.

Yes you said an original pressing but that's not a brand shiny new album is it? And this has 3 records.

Playing vinyl damages it (I guess you could use a laser for more accurate and non-damaging read, but that would defeat the "vinyl sound"). So play .flac file for better sound quality (and no damage) and use the vinyl for display purposes.

Life is funny. Literally an hour ago I was watching something on YT where someone used the term Bravado, which immediately made me think of their song from Roll The Bones. So I went to listen to it, and went down the Rush rabbit hole for 4 or 5 songs. Now, 30 mins later, I randomly open SD, and this deal is on the front page. Not gonna buy it, just thought it was interesting.

RIP Neil

I have 2 turntables connected to 2 full systems. One Techniques turntable(Magnetic direct drive) running through an older Onkyo reciever with MTX speakers.(back room)
My main system is a Newer Onkyo Turntable connected to a Yamaha receiver and Klipch tower speakers.
Does this throw off the percentages?
Life is good.

I first saw Rush on this tour, this is my favorite of their albums. Spent hundreds of hours lifting the needle on and off this record trying to learn the bass parts.
