Not a bad price on a small bottle of white pepper. If you have an Asian market nearby you can usually find a large bottle pretty cheap. I prefer white pepper for lots of dishes and marinades.
I like having the powder and also a white pepper grinder from WildFork that is quite good for fresh ground.
It's a little loophole.
If the per serving is less than one calorie. It can be advertised as zero calories.
A lot of condiments do this too and it is infuriating. Especially when a serving is small like one teaspoon. You look at the back and see "oh one gram of fat and one gram of sugar not bad!" But then you use like 8 servings in one go and you start to have a problem, especially if you use it all day. That whole bottle has 64 grams of sugar and fat!
So you are saying a 85 gram bottle of white pepper contains 64 grams of fat and sugar?
LOL...okay.

Its called rounding. If they didn't do this the contents of even bottled water not produced through distillation would be 50 ingredients. Yes, there is fat. sugar, lead, fecal matter etc in bottled water.

Sounds like an issue with moderation. You can't blame the spice because you consume 8 servings per sitting and do that multiple times per day. If you eat 24 apples per day there will also be problems. Should we label apples better?
