If you need fast burning portable calories, these will do the job. If you're concerned about lowering your sugar intake, you shouldn't even be looking at packaged foods.

No one is eating a muffin/cookie if they are concerned about lowering their sugar intake. These are a good cheap junky snack/dessert. It's not a health bar.
