- I bought travel pro, didn't like it, then I sent it back using prepaid shipping label via Fedex,
- Fedex lost the package
- Travelpro said that they'll refund me anyways. Never happened. Few weeks later, I emailed them again and they said "no, we have to wait until fedex sends us the package". I've explained so many times that it was lost and it was never going to arrive.
- After more emails, I got fed up and did a chargeback. Initially I was awarded $$$ until credit card company can finish an investigation
- TravelPro sent some stuff back to credit card company and credit card company asked me for more information as it seems I guess they think I was trying to scam them (i was not). I believe they told the CC they were about to refund me but I decided to do a chargeback anyways which I think is not true.
- At this point I emailed travelpro that I'll drop the chargeback if they refunded me immediately and they told me "nope, we're going to wait for the investigation to finish"
So now I'm thinking TravelPro thought they were going to win the chargeback and take my money. Luckily I provided a step by step communication log and ultimately CC ruled in my favor.
This was hours and hours of work just trying to get my money back which I basically worked for less than minimum wage dealing with TravelPro
I left a bad review on travelpro's own website which of course to this day I still do not see posted (unsurprisingly).
Avoid TravelPro at all costs. If I had this much trouble getting a refund, imagine the trouble dealing with warranty claims. Shady company.
