He states it is a prepaid label. That usually means the vendor sent the label, in this case, Travelpro. It's that's the case, he should not be dealing with FedEx himself. He should be dealing with Travelerpro, who should be dealing with FedEx themselves.

This code does not work on all items.

The code "UPGRADE10" will get you 10% off nearly all items on their site.

Cheaper through Costco next travel pro offer.

$250 for the medium size/carry on set versus $330-310 through that sale.

Actually this seems to be a pretty good deal once combined with HONEY15. This code works on the flagship "premium elite" line with the rollaboard carryon bringing it down to $238 + tax on Amex. . It's normally $315 on a regular sale. I have a 20+ year old version of this bag that is just starting to fray and zippers getting fussy , been thinking of replacing and now see Amex code offered on my delta branded card. Just have to be careful with carryon dimensions and differing international traveling airlines rules.

Read the terms. Most of the American Express offers only work with one, specific domain. In this case travelpro.com. Stuff from travelproluggageoutlet.com is not eligible.

Don't buy travel pro

- I bought travel pro, didn't like it, then I sent it back using prepaid shipping label via Fedex,
- Fedex lost the package
- Travelpro said that they'll refund me anyways. Never happened. Few weeks later, I emailed them again and they said "no, we have to wait until fedex sends us the package". I've explained so many times that it was lost and it was never going to arrive.
- After more emails, I got fed up and did a chargeback. Initially I was awarded $$$ until credit card company can finish an investigation
- TravelPro sent some stuff back to credit card company and credit card company asked me for more information as it seems I guess they think I was trying to scam them (i was not). I believe they told the CC they were about to refund me but I decided to do a chargeback anyways which I think is not true.
- At this point I emailed travelpro that I'll drop the chargeback if they refunded me immediately and they told me "nope, we're going to wait for the investigation to finish"

So now I'm thinking TravelPro thought they were going to win the chargeback and take my money. Luckily I provided a step by step communication log and ultimately CC ruled in my favor.

This was hours and hours of work just trying to get my money back which I basically worked for less than minimum wage dealing with TravelPro

I left a bad review on travelpro's own website which of course to this day I still do not see posted (unsurprisingly).

Avoid TravelPro at all costs. If I had this much trouble getting a refund, imagine the trouble dealing with warranty claims. Shady company.

Keep an eye out for Travelpro's clearance sales on year old models on Amazon. I was able to get roller carryons for their Premium Elite for less than $100. My only real complaint about the bag is the bearings are so good it'll start to roll away on any uneven flooring. Kind of a pain at the outdoor rental car counter or when unloading a car in a parking lot. I wish it had some sort of brake or "slight friction" mode you could turn on.
