Amen! 4 gallon bags? Just use grocery bags. Unless you live in a state where they have been banned, i guess...

I never understood why 4 gallon bags are more expensive than 13 gallon. Can anyone explain? Why are you guys thumbing up this deal?

Because 13 gallon are made and sold significantly more and there is economies of scale. The cost of goods is way lower at huge volumes. 4 gal isn't that common so the costs are more. Same reason why the baby 7.9 ounce soda cans they sell now cost more than the 12 ounce.

Ever watch show Shark Tank? They always get their cost down with bigger orders. If I sell less of something I need to charge more for it otherwise it's not worth it.

I've absolutely hated all the scented garbage bags I've tried. Not about to take a chance on these.

It came out to be $4.50 for me (8.6¢ per bag) which is cheaper than what markets charge me for grocery bags (10¢). Plus, I suspect many households stop purchasing plastic grocery bags anymore. Once I tried insulated grocery bags, I cannot go back.

Amazon has grocery bags around 5c/bag or little better quality at 6.5c/bag (https://a.co/d/3tTcQX9). I'm using the cheap grocery bags for small trash can and it works well (no liquid).

But the larger bags use more material , weigh more , take up more storage space, ( can't ship as many in transport container/truck ) just for a few examples.. your logic is flawed..

If the price of a product is determined by its raw materials, weight, and size, then why do new smartphones cost more than dishwashers?
