If you're seriously considering this, I'd suggest that you call Cuisinart and question whether they honor their warranty, regardless of where it's purchased. I wouldn't rely upon anything that "Tanga" tells you. Especially since they're the "middleman" in this transaction. However, I would ask them where exactly it's being shipped from (you may not get a straight answer, though).

I use mine almist daily for all kinds if cooking. Does wings well in air fryer setting. Jerk chicken. Homemade French bread pizzas. Biscuits, cookies, ...price is a no brainer

..mine is a TOA-60, paid $130 at Target.

Just got off the phone with Cuisinart and they confirmed the factory warranty is 3 years on this item regardless of where you purchase it. Their refurbished items will have "FR" after the model and then it wouldn't have the same warranty. I mentioned Tanga as the seller and they said as long as it's a new product the factory warranty would apply.

I have this model and I like it for the most part but the timer dials will eventually stick on you. I would recommend the digital version to avoid this issue. But for this price? I'd still buy it again!

Suppliers may have certain contracts with certain businesses only or for a certain amount of time. Therefore, all different model numbers for different vendors. Also, there could be some small feature change between models (making the prices all different too).

If you are in the market for this style oven/air fryer, I don't think this price can be beat for new. I have had this for years and it is great.

Or retailers request it just to make it harder for consumers to be able to price match with other retailers, similar to what's been going on for years in the laptop industry

I have similar or maybe exactly the same model, still works to some level but toaster filaments or something doesn't light up any more so it's slower than it was at heating up. Gonna buy another and put my first one in a secondary location. Probably not the most durable of units, but nothing is these days. Function is very good.

I particularly like putting whole potatoes or sweet potatoes in with zero prep, maybe wash if I want to eat the skins, maybe oil a bit if want to eat the skins, just toss in whole and turn on air fry at 400. I don't even bother to preheat. In about 45 minutes they're done. (varies a little depending on size of potatoes, I don't really care if a little overdone so I don't check on them much, once a fork goes in they're done) Crazy easy addition to dinner, grab them out, scrape out the insides to make a mash or just eat them as baked potato.

The goal for the manufacturer is that these multiple model number games are basically intended for preventing price matches. Otherwise, they wouldn't even bother doing this.

It's actually the manufacturers, not the retailers. This way, they can maintain the same prices on a particular item, regardless of whose selling it. If the retailer chooses to put it on sale, they reduce their profit. Regardless, it's a scheme to prevent price matches and it's unfair to the consumer!

Supposedly, Cuisinart offers a 3 year warranty on this unit. It's specified in the description on the "Tanga" website. It also states 30 days, but that could be a typo. The "fine print" specifies that they accept defective returns within 30 days, so that may be the answer. Additionally, it's not being shipped by them (who knows where it's originating from?). That, combined with the missing model number and my never purchasing anything from them previously, leaves me kinda uneasy about making this purchase!

Thanks..I bought 2 insignia air fryers in the past and both got recalled after 2 years. 2022 and now. I need a new one, this looks like worth taking a chance if it comes with a warranty. Tanga doesn't seem to be offering free returns, which is why I am suspicious. But good price I think.

Strange that in the description it states: "Backed by a 3-year limited warranty" but then under Additional Information it shows "30 day warranty/New" as you mentioned. Wonder which it is?

The "30 days" seems to apply to their return policy, not the original warranty. At least, that's my interpretation. Trust me, if this thing is covered for only 30 days, forget about it at any price....since it would likely be refurbished and I've had too many issues with refurbished goods!
Assuming that it's new, will Cuisinart honor the warranty (since it's not being sold by a major retailer/online source)?

Contacted Tanga's customer support to inquire about the warranty, we'll see if they respond...
