All of that being said, I'm purely mentioning my experience and not reviewing this model by any means. Eufy has been a fairly stable and reliable brand based on any other purchase I've made from them, cameras or not.

Tried with two different WiFi networks, from separate sources, and both failed. I'm not a network engineer but I do know how to connect a basic camera to WiFi.
Yep I have 4 solocams and don't have issues when connecting to 2.4ghz. The reason for 2.4ghz is for longer ranges and it can penetrate walls better.

Yup. Like I said, I tried it on two networks and it failed to connect to either. It didn't matter how many times I tried or how close the access point was.
Holy crap, it was a single comment and I have stated that I use and enjoy many other Eufy products. People here keep trying to troubleshoot this. I have a product experience, mentioned it was probably a very isolated incident, and have positive feedback on the brand. Y'all can leave it alone. Im aware of the device's capabilities, requirements, and have had zero issues using any other models of Eufy cameras.
Good Lord. I'm not sure what causes people to make these presumptuously condescending suggestions as to why I, "probably" couldn't get a $50 security camera to work but just take my comment for what it was and leave it alone lol

8gb storage on board. i guess you could worry somebody could steal the camera and your footage, but i've learned to stop caring about stuff like that because no security is perfect, it's all just one more detterent, and the thief isnt going to know if you have local, homebase, or cloud storage etc. plus i use these cameras for live view as much as anything. the storage being built in is actually a plus for me, just means i wont have to dig up a sd card.
lifehackster mentioned the included mount is short and not versatile, so you might have to get a better one from amazon. but that would be another 10 i assume, not insignificant when considering a camera this cheap.
he said 3 month battery life which well is not great imo.
the cherry on top is you can add a solar panel later if you want, but its your option. awesome.
one thing to keep in mind thats little known is battery cams only have 30 ft pir detection range afaik. poe cams 100ft. it's a trade off performance vs convenience a mix is good, these wireless are super convenient.
pet/vehicle/person detection free.
