In case folks are wondering, I looked it up and the limit is 27,000 mAh.
You are not allowed to bring it on a commercial flight.
You can't charge a laptop with it.
I mean in one picture it says "Charges 4 Devices Simultaneously" and there are four devices in the picture, and one of the four is a laptop........

Obviously 20W isn't enough but for the average consumer that is an intentionally misleading picture. I work in consumer protection so don't even try and argue it some other way.

I wish I had waited and got this instead of the 40MaH model.

I have the 40,000mah version of this and it works really well. I've had it over a year and take it to work with me daily. Keeps my S215g Samsung phone charged all day and barely taps the power below 90%. I think I am going to get this one and keep it at home. Seems like a great device to have in case I suffer a power outage. The usb type C charging option is also a plus. Ok convinced I need this.

There are nearly 2000 amazon reviews on it. So I guess quite some people have their use cases.
Sure. What would that be in your view? Weighted walks / rucking? Smilie

I HAVE THE 40K version. Charges slow but is good for long camping and road trips for sure. Too heavy for hiking or bags, however on boating trips this will be do it to charge phones/ small cameras

Way too much Romoss spamming by Slickdeals on FP. There are many others with better spec'ed batteries out there with similar price of course.
Most brands got banned from SD for advertising rule breaking. Anker and Romoss are like the only 2 recognizable brands that haven't. Anker is overpriced and Romoss is shit quality but that's what we got.

Maybe when the laptop is turned off. Maybe. One would need to test it. It's certainly not designed for it. To be honest, I'm not sure what it's designed for. It's unreasonably heavy to be a phone / tablet charger.
I've charged a Macbook with 18W before. It's not a fun experience but it works.

ohh crap. consumer protection offical coming through everyone. lol. im sure romoss will deal with so much backlash from this super misleading image.

Lol. Imagine... Of all the things you choose to complain about chinese amazon sellers at this point being so silly. Like, this doesn't even scratch the surface on weird product photos.

There were days where misleading advertising were stricken.

Side note: Salesman spoke to a consumer that mentioned "Cruise Control practically drives itself" loss a case because of that verbiage when they crash as missleading.

So seeing a laptop imagery next to a power supply more than likely promotes the ability to also charge/power a laptop 💻.

Who else caught their attention more appealing when seeing that.

It's tempting, but I just don't see what I would use it for. If it had a stronger output to support laptop charging, that would be a no brainer.

Just bought one from the last deal on this brand. It's on my desk to be returned to UPS today. Charged til 66% left to find it not working the next day. Charged it and it came to life at 35%, connected phone for it to stop again and die after charging phone for 60 seconds. Returned. No more Romoss for me.

Bought another semi unknown brand as Anker is too expensive now. New one works perfectly, apparently a new brand name of the former Rav Power brand who got kicked off Amazon a couple years ago. 65w charging speed, loving it! Got it down to 9% so far after charging tons of stuff for a few days now. Nice.

I've had good experiences with this brand, and I have plenty of other power banks that charge my MacBook Pro.

My issue with this one is that it only has 1 USB C port (which doubles as input/output).

Is this a russian bot account? Lol.

If you want it to charge a laptop, know the specs requried to charge a laptop. Don't buy things based off of photoshopped chinese product images. I swear we are living in idiocracy. Use your brains people.

I may be in the same boat as you. I bought the 40w from the last deal. Instructions said to let it run down then charge fully back to 100% for battery health.

So I kept topping off my phone. The percentage was 70%, then 60%, then 50% ...then 0%. No idea where half the capacity of this giant battery disappeared to, it sure wasn't in my phone!

So I'm recharging it now. Which is slow as heck at 15w on the USB-C port. After 30 minutes it only reads 2% recovered! (Edit: After 4hr of charge on USB-C it's only at 50%!!!)

I think there's enough evidence that mine is going to be trash. Still, I'll see the process through.

Buyers: test then IMMEDIATELY and be ready to return if you get a lemon.
