To make the deal a little sweeter 16-digit coupon code stack with the 5-digit coupon code.

I added 2 cases to cart and $10 off $60 also worked.

Cost/case is $34.99 for the above example.

Where do extra codes come from?

I think ctslive is referring to coupon codes that Staples will sometimes send you via email.
For example, while logged into my Staples account, I recently viewed a product that was featured on slickdeals (Samsung 2TB M.2 SSD [staples.com]), and Staples sent me a $10 off $50 coupon code in order to try to entice me to purchase the item.
Other times, possibly when I haven't purchased from Staples in awhile, Staples seems to just send me random coupon codes for $15 off $60, or $20 off $200, or something like that.

I know that when you recycle tech items at Staples, your printed receipt will have a $10 off $30 coupon at the bottom for in-store purchase. But I don't know if that code will work for online purchase as well.

I'm assuming this Chase Offer 10%?

https://slickdeals.net/f/17361750-chase-offer-staples-com-only-10-statement-credit-17-max-ymmv-add-offer-use-by-april-30-2024

Didn't work for me (tried 7 different cards including business).

Costco and Sams have this price for 10 reams, is this a deal because of HammerMill paper?

Tbh, I don't really know. I posted it because this item (Hammermill) went to frontpage at a similar price point.
But upon further reflection, perhaps it's because these Hammermill deals have free shipping and don't require any warehouse memberships.
  1. Warehouse Clubs - Not everyone has (or wants to pay for) a Costco or Sams Club membership, and relatedly, not everyone lives close enough to one.
  2. Paper is Heavy - Not everyone can lift 50 pounds of paper, so perhaps they would rather have it shipped than having to pick it up at a brick & mortar store themselves.
  3. Shipped Price - On Sams Club's website, the Member's Mark 10 ream case ($39) doesn't even offer the option of shipping and their 8 ream case ($38) charges me $15 for shipping. On Costco's website, the Universal 10 ream case is $52 with free shipping. The Costco price might be cheaper in-store (assuming your local warehouse carries it), but we're only comparing shipped price.
