checked a number of zip codes in different areas and dont see anything coming up. is it that the inventory check is just wrong or something? Pretty sure i've seen this set at the store recently.

Brickseek is useless. It only shows stock for Walmart if it's available for store pickup and it may not be at the clearance price.

I had mixed results lately with Walmart in my area. I was in my local store yesterday after brickseek said there was none and they had 5+ in that store in a couple of different locations in the store (Lego isle as well as by the Nintendo games).

so I was at wally and looked for this the other day and found a bunch but all were regular price. I noticed from your walmart.com link that it shows different sku (630856416) than the one you show from the BS link (1468013646). Here is the BS link of the one at my store:

https://brickseek.com/walmart-inv...=630856416

It seems the sets are the same, so far as I can tell and even the same set number (71403). Wonder if the one you found for $28 at your wally was like an OG set and then Lego started restocking with an updated one.
