The Smartest House [thesmartesthouse.com] is having their spring sale through 3/26. Many deals on ZWave devices, mostly 800 series LR chips. My particular recommendations are the ZEN34 and ZEN37 remotes ($18 and $24 respectively) which are incredibly handy devices. Also lots of wired switches, relays, and controllers. Well, it can be argued that since Z-wave is mesh based, there's some value on focusing on one platform (more nodes == stronger mesh with more reliability/range). With that said, most controller platforms (SmartThings, Hubitat, Home Assistant, etc.) all support multiple so running multiple protocols isn't a huge issue.

I've got zigbee, zwave, wifi and matter devices. No issues with any of them.

The hardware is a little different between these models to accommodate specific wiring and electrical scenarios. You can read more about the differences between the on/off switches here [getzooz.com] and the differences between the dimmers here [getzooz.com].

something is funky with my link. but the button is SNZB-01P

I just put in an address and shipping is only $4.40. So it's still cheaper. Also no tax.

People need to look past "Free Shipping." It's never free.

I've been buying zooz for a few years now and tbh the prices haven't shifted much. Well, they come out with a newer version - longer range, better components, etc - and it's the same price as the old version was. I've found buying a slew of items around holidays when have sales and other discounts, it's easy to get to the $99 free shipping. Sounds like I'm similar to some other users, having a storage bin of "future project" stuff.

Smartthings isn't the only game in town. Hubitat hub has been great for me, supporting Zwave, Zigbee, and Wifi in one hub who's code is kept locally. If I lose internet my automation still functions fine. With my hub on a UPS I can even keep battery zwave devices online when power is lost. But I'm more of a "set it and forget it user", with physical switches to interact with stuff. I'm not on my phone trying to control my house while i am home and away, so other solutions that are more cloud based don't appeal to me.

It refers to the Aqara Hub. The switch is Zigbee based and there are 3rd party driver for SmartThings.

What hub do you have? Or are you decentralized right now? Your hub probably has a dashboard UI. Then, you just need a cheap tablet to run it.
