I wish they would come up with something to have better battery life. Garmin Coros and Amazefit are consistently giving 5 plus days

This is wrong. Only watches sold directly from Apple have this feature disabled:

"The ability to measure blood oxygen is no longer available on Apple Watch units sold by Apple in the United States on or after January 18, 2024. These units are indicated with part numbers ending in LW/A."

I think the problem has to do with one poster saying it's disabled in SW due to patent infringement or something like that, so yeah we asked, me included (I know nothing about what's going on with Apple features), not because we're lazy to read. If you want people to Google to find out the real truth, then yeah that's more work. So instead of people upvoting that one post and downvoting people who asked because that post seems to be making a valid statement about it not being enabled in SW, maybe be more critical of that post. Just my 2 cents

Like i said in the second paragraph, diff model number but do you trust bb to create a new listing for that model number and not just sell the new model on the old listing without updates?
I don't know how I missed that but you could still see in one of their stores

What makes you think Best Buy are selling non-O2 under the guise they're O2 capable? Have you seen evidence of that? Reading the legal ruling it seems to suggest only watches sold by Apple have the O2 restrictions. It's somewhat unclear admittedly.

What is very clear and you can look this up is that the Apple Watch description on the Apple site excludes the O2 reference whereas e/retailers like Best Buy and Target include it. I don't think Target and Best Buy are that sloppy about inventory, even if they do have non-O2 models at all. Again, what is your evidence that they are? It would be a customer service and legal nightmare if they advertised O2 watches and then sent non-O2 versions. No?

New series 9 sized 45mm at $329 OR Woot Refurbished Series 7 sized 45mm cellular at $205?? Is it worth $124 gap?

My research tells me 7 to 9 is not much big of a difference (I've already got iPhone 15 so no need for crash detection on watch).

9 has the updated chip. "The S9 packs a CPU that has 5.6 billion transistors — 60% more than the S8, the S9's four-year-old predecessor — and a GPU that's 30% faster." So no it's a huge difference.

Open box excellent, Series 9 45mm gps starlight is available at $255.99.

I've traded the one i got from Walmart at $129 and got an exchange value of $235.

So basically by adding another $21 I've got a series 9 45mm for $150!

On a watch. What are you doing on a watch that needs that kind of processing power ?

How about someone that bought one from this BB deal posts up the model number of the unit that arrives to them?

That's a good idea, along with whether the O2 sensor works or not.

There are model numbers in their posting though it's unclear whether they can keep their model numbers straight vs O2 sensor capability. Amazon given the different sources and sellers there I wouldn't 100% believe.

Best Buy and Target I'd have a more confidence, but that may be false belief on my part.

My series 4 was barely making it through my evening workout, so I picked up an open box-excellent for $247 when this deal was going. The model I got was A2978 and does have the blood oxygen monitor.

Basically looked new and had all the accessories except the box was taped up. Feel like I got a great deal.

You're falling victim to nothing but a marketing gimmick. At this point iPhone or watch regardless of CPU processor speed you aren't going to notice a worthwhile difference. Maybe some games can benefit but you aren't playing games on a watch.
