    B&H is selling it fro 1749 but 1699 is 100 off straight and apple refurbished in my experience has 99% been new device. It has same warranty as new, has same apple care and everything else.

    In my experience, its new. I have had bought from apple refurbished before and the ssd health was 100% and wear was not even 13GB (which would be there for every new ssd as well as this is the least that write which installing the MacOS). Also the SSD TBW for 512GB models were rated for ~250TB (making wear = 0.00005%)
