It was a much better deal when Costco offered it including the 4A - 80V battery. At that time I think it was $299 and $50 off promo $250 plus tax. Waiting for that deal since it was Sold out at Costco online.

Not that great for a tool only. I have the latest model GW string trimmer with a steel blade edger attachment. It works great, and easily converts back to a string trimmer, plus all the other attachments are available (I also have the hedge trimmer attachment). Woot had the string trimmer (tool only) for $99 recently. I've seen it for around $200 with a 2 Ah battery. I see the attachments on FB marketplace for anywhere from $20-$50.

The odd thing about these electric edgers is how heavy it is at the head. It throws weight balance way off. My gas powered feels more balanced. Use the largest battery to counterbalance. Don't expect the electric edger to way significantly less than gas.

I bought the attachment a couple years ago for $70 linked below but this seems like a much better deal since you get extra blades and a whole item. Granted some people might want to save space by just having the attachment.
