No, I've found quality wool suits at sub $250 that last 10+ years.

Go overseas and get one tailor made I have 2 suits for special occasions.
I think I paid 100 each. Or 200 but that's from a poorer country.

400 dollars isn't bad. I'll get more on trips name brand is for suckers unless you wanna resell them for some idiot reason 🤣 no resale value expected. A suit is yours only not for bidding up or down like stocks and houses.

Also houses are depreciating assets it's land that appreciates due to infrastructure others put in place your house is just materials and labor initially that depreciated to nothing over 27 yrs.
