LOL, I remember my first battery pack...

Baseus is a Chinese electronics accessories company that is roughly 13 years old and has been in the US market for a few years now. They aim at providing budget priced tech accessories and have been fairly successful. Just do a couple searches on Amazon once in a while and you will see that they are fairly prevalent options

If the vine review is accurate based on the conversion of cell and testing, this may not live up to the stated mAh

EDIT: Actually it does show a product image stating that it is PD charging capable? It usually gets advertised all over the place when it is PD. Anyone have this that can confirm?

Not a PD charging device. Obviously, this doesn't impact everyone's use-case scenario. I've just gotten to the point that I won't invest in any more battery packs that don't have the feature after slickdeals has managed to stock me up on so many with PD charging at the same price point/capacity. Just worth mentioning

The product description says it supports PD3.0, which is a relatively modern version of PD. Do you believe that is not accurate?

My complaint is this charger only supports 20W, which isn't really fast charging for modern smartphones if the battery itself recharges at only 20W, that could take all night. $17 is a reasonable price for what you get, but this brand and others do sell battery packs that support 40W or even 60W.

Yeah, I read the description after my post and saw the same thing. I just thought it was kind of odd that they didn't put PD charging in the description or any of the featured product photos. I'm sure it is accurate. It just seems like battery packs with that feature like to put that fact out as a main highlighted functionality.

I don't mind the 20W so much but that's because I tend to use them as a long lasting power source for portable monitors. That is plenty for that purpose but you are completely right. There are far better options for those looking to power other devices like laptops

Went through the checkout steps and can confirm this price will work with a quantity of 2. I'm still on the fence about ordering but I might pull the trigger as an upgrade to my double 15000mAh packs used to power an LED rope I made for work.

Ordered one, and it's this price. Funny thing is, Amazon says I've ordered a variation of this product, turn out I bought a 1000mAh of it some time ago, which shows $15 now on Amazon, but I have no idea where it is now in my house. I hate it when this happens, it defeats all the deals I strove for.

Does it seem weird that all the reviews are for the 10000mAh model?

I've bought a couple of these Baseus banks over the years. I've never had any issues. They're cheap because you can get a smaller power bank with triple the output these days, albeit for triple the price. They're basically at the level of Anker from 10 years ago, similar to Aukey and Ugreen and so on: Chinese brand that you won't find in the big box stores in the US, but pretty compelling for the price if you don't need it for ultra light traveling or backpacking.
