i've thought about getting a dash cam for a while now.. i used to live in a big metro area where i would have to leave my car parked down the block out of my sight for extended periods of time.. it was broken into a few times over the course of 3 years and i never kept anything valuable in my car for that reason. i do see how any sort of electronics in plain view could invite break-ins so it's nice that this just attaches with a suction cup. i want some sort of recording device that will be able to run when the car is off and i am not there to DETER break-ins. preferably with a sign that says YOU ARE ON CAMERA haha.. i just don't know what my options are for something that is not powered by the car
I would get it for accidents and the police. My son got pulled over and the cop said he did something and he said he didnt. The cop realized that what he said wouldnt stand up and then made a new reason. My son told him that the dash cam was recording so the cop let him go.
