I'm not in the market for this kind of shoe, but the Durbin looks mildly interesting due to its lack of Goretex, PU midsole instead of EVA, and partially stitched construction:
although I can imagine needing some Shoe Goo in the front soon enough, and of course whatever pleather they cover the heel cushion with will start crumbling / peeling.
(Edit: not as "work boots" in the broad sense, clearly they have other options.)
Anyone else alarmed by the ratings on Wolverine's own website? Few of their boots are above 4.2/5 ⭐️…
Not really - the Wolverine Kickstart Durashock boots are one of the most comfortable boots I ever put on - and they look awesome on. Only $25 on DSW in January. They are like walking on clouds if one could. I was absolutely shocked they were more comfortable than any Timber or other expensive boot I've worn. I highly recommend.
Bought the ultraspring moctoe on a previous sale for work, and it fell apart very quickly. They are comfortable enough, but I will not be buying again.

True words … "surprised" was my sentiment as well…
