As an FYI, that's the rating for the 3/8 adapter. It's a bit harder to get 164 ft lbs on a 3/8 breaker bar. The 1/2" PT adapter, however, is rated at 411.5 ft/lbs [jegs.com].

I bought the 1/2" on last deal. This one doesn't make much sense. If I'm using a breaker bar it's gonna be 1/2"

My largest ratchet is 1/4 the length of my largest breaker bar. Breaking truck lug nuts, it'd be nice to have a ratchet setup. Use case seems clear to me. 1/2" of course.

This is the answer I got from chat:

Thank you.
On checking I can see that the item is not available on your nearest Fulfillment center
That is why it is not delivered to your address.

I have never understood the purpose of a ratchet adapter which makes a pull handle into something bigger and clumsier than a racthet wrench.

I would be very careful with this, you can easily exceed 164.5ft/lbs with a long breaker bar.

Agree. I'm never using my breaker for anything but it's intended use. If I have a 3/8 breaker, I almost certainly have my ratchet handy too. This is a waste of money/drawer space

I've had uses for it where my 3/8 ratchet doesn't have enough leverage. My Lexus oil filter comes off with an adapter that's 3/8 and if I don't lift my car up enough I can't get my breaker to turn enough to loosen it. Ratcheting would easily fix that. If I lift my car up enough it's fine though.

Really? Not even the 1/2' adapters? I have like 4 1/2 breaker bars so being able to have them ratchet is pretty nice. Would cost a lot more for 1/2 ratchets that long. And has lifetime warranty

They're actually super handy. I put one on a 3/8 ratchet, reversed the direction to the setting on my ratchet, and voila! bidirectional ratcheting mechanism. Doesn't turn fasteners but it definitely makes you look like you're working on something
