These work really well. You can flip em over and use each one twice.

That said, when I was last ordering these 2pks in 2022 they were $2.97 from Amazon. Fortunately I moved and don't need anymore.

These roach motels work okay, but you need to put a lot of t hem down. Instead, use Harris Famous Roach Tablets [amazon.com] and Sticky Traps [amazon.com]. The problem with just using these is they breed so quickly, so even if you trap and kill the roach with these, it can still give birth and potentially have it's evil roach babies running around afterwards, and the cycle will occur continually as the roach babies have their own creepy babies ad unleash them in your home.

A single cockroach can have thousands of offspring a year. Someincubate the eggs in their uterus [howstuffworks.com], and even if you catch it in a roach motel, the babies and still hatch and begin roaming your home. Other roaches carry their eggs on their shell, and they may rub them against furniture, walls, and even clothing, so you could be at work at have roaches hatching in your pants pockets or shirt. Anyway, if they stuck and/or poisoned, you'll eliminate them much faster.

Pro tip: Put traps and poison in your dishwasher when not in use. Dishwashers are a favorite hiding place for roaches [todayshomeowner.com] because it's a perfect spot to meet all their needs. 1. Food leftovers 2, Damp, dark shelter (their favorite) 3, Water Source. Not unloading your dishwasher right away? Well some cockroaches may have slithered all over your fine China and golden goblets. They may have even rubbed off one or two dozen eggs in a few hidden crevices.

Be safe, Cockroaches are known for carrying some serious diseases [pestcontrolheroes.com]:
  • Typhoid Fever
  • Leprosy
  • E.coli
  • Cholera
  • Dysentery
  • Salmonella

This plus boric acid fixed the huge infestation that started all of a sudden in my apartment.

It's a really well designed glue trap. Simple and extremely effective. Buy it and keep in the corners of your house or next to the entrance door. Just for the piece of mind

How did you use the boric acid, I've heard about that too but am not sure how you use it.

Is this where they're keeping all the illegals, I mean invaders, I mean undocumented immigrants, criminals, er uh, "refugees"?

Indoors you can simply spread lines of boric acid where roaches will have to cross it. It will stick to their body where they'll ingest it while grooming.

Outdoors is trickier if you live in a windy location like I do. I can't spread lines because they'll just blow away, and even if I could, it requires more than I want to use. Instead of buying a gel, I make my own with boric acid, flour and cheap pancake syrup. I'll walk around leaving drops of it, and I'll find roaches feasting on it when I circle back.

It works. But ideally, you'll put down roach baits at the same time.

Roaches won't always walk into the box, so you'll capture a few, but not all.

The baits help with killing the lot hidden behind the walls.

Like two in the kitchen, garage.
Then one each in the bathrooms.
Swap out baits every 3 to 6 months.

And always take out the trash in well-sealed bags every night.

...

Boxes work outside for the little critters, too.
