Great price for a standard generator from a reputable manufacturer. Note: this model is NOT an inverter type. I considered buying this from Lowe's about a month ago when it was $730. I didn't end up buying because this Generac has a total harmonic distortion (THD) of 16-20%. It's not appropriate for sensitive electronics or really anything with a circuit board in case, like me, you wanted to use it for temporarily powering a whole house.
