$45 gets you 180 fuel points which is 18c disc/gallon so I don't see how that can save you "at least $10" unless you drive a Bradley tank.
Maybe it works differently in your area, but in Cincinnati, it only goes in increments of 10 cents per 100 points, so 180 points is a 10 cent/gal discount. Of course if you have $20 in grocery spend that month, that would push it up to 20 cents/gal discount. I know some people fill up multiple cars and I've done it myself once, but it would be impossible for me to get 50 gals to save $10 with a 20 cents/gal discount.

I should've specified that you can buy 3 gift cards for this deal which is what I did. That gets me 50c/gal off (and 4 cents toward 60c) which puts me north of $10 savings. Closer to $13 if you count the 4 cents.

has anyone ever compared if Kroger gas discount prices are comparable to Sams Club or Walmart+ membership discount of 10c/gal ?
Seems to vary considerably depending on area. I moved from one state where Costco gas for instance was 10-20cents cheaper than all the area gas stations at all times and the line for the station was down the street every day. Where I live now for some reason, the local Kroger gas station is comparable with Costco (and thus probably Walmart or Sam's club) so the lines at Costco gas are never long and it makes the fuel savings worth it since Costco is out of the way.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I believe the fuel points earned are based on value of gift card meaning a $50 gift card would earn 200 fuel points, equal to $.20 off 35 gallons of fuel, equal to a $7 savings on fuel.
