It's a great camera; it even supports FTP/SFTP to my NAS in addition to storing everything on a microSD card. So on the very off chance that someone totally destroys the camera, I still have a copy of everything without needing to pay for cloud storage.
It also supports Alexa/Google Home as a chime (Nest Mini/Nest Hub/etc), and can stream the live camera footage to any Google Cast compatible screens (including any of those devices with screens themselves, like my Nest Hub).
Also a little tip -- Reolink charges extra for "Rich Previews" (I forget the naming), but it's for preview images inside of Motion Notifications (like thumbnails before you go into the app, in the notification previews themselves). You can get this feature for free by enabling email notifications and using the email address for service like Pushover/Pushbullet/etc. They're near-instant too.

Damnit! Who in hell has ethernet to their doorbell? I can't think of a more difficult wire fish than this … especially if you have properly foam insulated that notoriously leaky cavity.
My doorbell already had cat5e to it, the builders just used two of the pairs to connect to the transformer and then another cat5e to the chime. It was easy for me to just put on a new connector. I ended up removing the old transformer and put an outlet in place of it. I also removed the old chime and put another POE device there. FWIW, my house was built in 2003.
Performance-wise, it's quite good. I can get to the video quickly if someone pressed the doorbell, but the notifications can lag a smidge if someone just came/went (not a big deal). The positioning I have on my door means I don't get false positives unless a spider gets in the way at night - though that's been solved by just doing person detection.
The wifi version worked great at my parents - it also has ethernet, but no POE I think. It stays connected to the router when others would randomly drop. It's also 'boomer' approved once I installed the app on my parents phone etc, haha.

There are white spots in the time line right below the video, the gray timeline, not the blue one. The gray time line is the clip time line. Tap to the white spot to jump and see what was detected.
The marketing bullet point on it sounds like it might do either. The point it will have over this is the taller POV, head to toe. Nice but not a big deal to me.
