The "1" on gw6900-1 indicates the color. 1 is the basic black color. Other colorways will have different identifier instead of the 1

This one is big. I scored one for $65 a month ago along with a GA700. It's not as big as the 700 but I'd say slightly bigger than an Apple Watch Ultra. I ran a very muddy Spartan with it and it survived the Spartan and the multiple cleanings that followed with no issues.

About like a 50 cent piece total including bezel I've wore mine every day for 12 years. Construction beach painting, pretty active. I've had to change the little band retainer 2 times.


correction idk about the +1model whatever that means mine is just the 6900.

It's bigger than the squares for sure. But there are much bigger g-shocks. With that size you get easier to press side buttons and dedicated light button. Personally, I think g-shocks still look good when they are big, but everyone has their own opinion. You can find videos online comparing the sizes. Also, Casio lists the dimensions on their website.

These are great. I have a similar one with a bit nicer design and analog hands. I paid around 110 from a seller on ebay new.

I'm new to the G-Shocks but after looking for one as a gift for a friend I fell for them and at the perfect time. Friendly tip for those still adventurous enough to visit b&m stores, a lot of Kohls and Walmarts are getting rid of their jewelry counters right now and selling everything including G-Shocks, Casios and Timex pieces for 50-95% off. I missed out on all the GS's at my local Kohl's when they converted it into a makeup store but found a few Casios at a Walmart. These make great gifts.

I bought this a few years ago as a beater and love it. I remember it being a bit cheaper then, but I have no clue what the going rate post covid is.

I've had this model for almost eight years, with about 3-4 days of wear per week during that time. Still works perfectly, no issues even with the battery. I replaced the strap with a Zulu band (you will have to buy adapters for this from JaysandKays on Ebay). Great casual watch.

Where do you see it for $60? I checked CamelCamelCamel and Amazon hasn't sold it in the $60s since 2018. The all-time low price Amazon sold it for was $63.22 in 2013.

I love this watch! This has been my EDC for the past 3 years and no issues whatsoever. I go to the gym with it, work construction with it, go swimming with it, cut my lawn with it you name it. Absolute tank of a watch!
