If you're looking for something with a bit more bass, loudness, and oomph I'd recommend the Tribit Stormbox Blast. It's significantly heavier though weighing in around 12.5 lbs. Often goes on lightning deals with coupon in the $145-155 range.

A boombox provides its own sound (via built in radio, tape, or CD - new ones add Bluetooth without losing the radio etc) this is just a speaker that you have to provide sound to, perhaps FROM your boombox via aux in 😜

Costco next is just their membership discount program for companies that have a wholesale discount agreement or something. You don't have to do it from this link, you can go on the official Costco website and search for anker. It'll have a link to their Next page

This thing bangs for the price, is super light, charges quickly, long battery. Pretty bassy, if thats not your style, may not be for you.

This is my experience too. Another guy was bashing this being an early adopter, I also was and paid significantly more than this price. I'm very pleased with this speaker and I'm especially surprised with the battery life.

Very pleased with ours. We keep it out by the pool and it has seen the deep end a few times. Still works perfectly and really enjoy the sound.

As long as the rubber charging cover is on it'll be plenty fine. I've left mine outside uncovered and it rained cause I forgot to bring it in and no problems also brought it into a pool to test it since I got a squaretrade on it and it was floating playing music LOL. So yeah especially if it's covered I couldn't see it messing up from that. And the charge lasts for a LONG time.

I have one of these speakers. Great sound. Solid battery life. Good connectivity range. I bought it on Prime Day a couple years ago. Totally happy with it and would buy it again.

The quality of Soundcore and Anker remains consistently excellent. All my chargers, power banks, and data cables are from the Anker brand. I've previously purchased Soundcore headphones as well, and the sound quality is exceptional, rivaling traditional brands like Bose and JBL.
