Motorola has burned me for the final time with their lack of update support. Previously had a Moto X, Z2 force, stylus and G power... I had to upgrade every one of them before their time because of no more security updates. The devices were fine but I am not comfortable with no longer getting updates.
I switched to Samsung and couldn't be happier.
The 2022 edge+ has one more year of security updates left according to this article: https://9to5google.com/2022/03/22...ce-stylus/

It is a 5G phone and I believe that comes automatically with it having the Snapdragon 8 Gen1. It is an excellent device, and it was kind of like having my LG v60 back. Sure the Moto edge plus 2022 could have been better, but at this price range it is going to be better than a lot of stuff you can get.

This has flagship processor and graphics from 2022. Should be comparable to galaxy S22.
How many sw updates does this one get? Could be a deal breaker for some as it's already 2 years old.

Good specs and decent reviews (except for the cameras vs high end 2022 phones) but OS updates stop at Android 15 in 2025 and security updates stop in 2026.
