Many many moons ago I used to work for Coleman. If the products are still similar to what they used to be (they're always trying to pull cost out so they may not be) it was always worth waiting for a deal on the Coleman Marine coolers. They were the same footprints as the standard coolers but with better UV resistance and stainless steel hinges in place of plastic. YMMV in 2024

Good deal. Heads up for anyone thinking of purchasing, reviews say the lid doesn't close. The lid tends to curl if left directly in the sun.

Bought this last year directly from Coleman on sale for this price. It's a fair price for a decent basic cheap cooler. The retail price (like many other things) is not real.
