Don't even buy from directly Chinese company website unless it's super reputable. you are basically at their mercy if something happens to it. They can just say no to your reasoning of returning or replacement request. Use, Costco, Amazon, eBay, target. At least have some sort of middle company so you would rather go thru them. Chinese companies are not exactly not known for their customer support
I personally never understand this mindset (nor the mindset of not buying because you're giving China your payment information).

Just go through a credit card and file a chargeback if your return request is legitimate. If China gets your credit card as well, I don't know how much damage they can possibly even do. If China does start doing anything heinous, the credit card companies will handle it since it will be widespread. Or just use another payment method like Paypal if available. It kind of just seems like an ignorant opinion but I'm open to seeing why I could be wrong. A word of caution would be more apt in my eyes.

They can't really "just say no" your credit card will protect you in many of the scenarios that you mention.

Warranty is a different story, but that has nothing to do with the fact that it is sold direct to consumer Chinese brands website.

Also with dreame's parent company having a valuation of around 50 billion, this isn't exactly a fly by night company.

I did a lot of compares and the L10s Ultra is by far the best and the best value if you have the same type of floor like I do for LVP. It mops, washes with warm water etc and auto empties and is better than the QRevo or the Xiaomi.

It seems like these are advancing very fast, new models like every 6 months it seems.

Are they actually getting any better?

I think the big thing is that they are getting affordable in price as the L10s Ultra for example has most all the features that were almost $1000-$1400 a year ago?

Better Spin Mopping, mop cleaning, Radar, Camera, auto empty, auto filling from the water tank etc.

Down under $600!

The other features they are adding are smaller in my opinion.

seems like it cannot auto lift the mop while at carpet, only lift while return to base
Not true, it lifts the mops 7mm when going over carpet.

Doesn't this apply to ANY company? Anyone should think twice before buying stuff from non-reputable websites, US ones included. If I were to compare so many Chinese websites vs any other non-US websites, I would probably trust Chinese ones a bit more just because they actually want to sell stuff instead of scamming you once and done.

Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank

I have an L20. The mopping works pretty well, although it seems to wait too long to refill water. When it first fills up, you can see a slight trail behind it where a wet mop was. It runs out though and then runs with a dry looking mop for a bit before refilling.

Despite camera and lidar, it still has gotten stuck a few times. For some reason it has a problem with a speaker stand I have. Just keeps trying to go through it. It also doesn't want to go over an area rug. It will eventually, but it spends 5 minutes starting to go on it and then turning away, just to move down a bit and try again. Eventually it just goes over it to get back to base. The mapping software was not great to set up. Roomba does that better.

How does this compare to eufy x10 pro Omni which also sells for 599$ with the coupon code. Any pros and cons for these two ?

They are getting better but at this point you are getting to diminishing returns. A $1600 vacuum is better than a $600 vacuum but it is not 2-3x times better. Just having a robot vacuum that navigates well, mops, self clean with big water tanks and large disposable bags is really all you need.

The new ones are coming with new extra features like hot water cleaning, but unless you have really dirty dogs that bring dirt in, do you really need that? Extending side brush, to hit the 90° corners, is cool and all, but do you really need it?

I think in today's market a middle of the line Q-Revo will make almost everyone happy.

I think the next big jump is multilevel vacuum and robots that integrate with your water line and sewage line. The new Roborock launching soon will have water line integration but it will be pricey.

With the new whole house cleaning robots on the horizon I expect these types of robots to fall quickly in price. Their is now a vacuum that can go up and down stairs by itself and clean multiple levels while it mops. It is for preorder right now through kickstarter at $850 and dual packs for around $1500 and the robot looks very promising, they are definitely the future over these single level robots.
That looks like vaporware, and all that mechanism will make it heavy which will impact battery life.

Can you go into a bit more detail? I have a Q Revo that I really like, but I've been looking for something in the same range for a family member. The Q Revo auto empties and mops, so the only function you've mentioned here that's different is a warm water mop, which unless the tank holds the temp at a relatively high level I can't imagine would be very useful (I can fill the QRevo with hot water just the same).

Agreed. If the big ticket item is integration with plumbing, I don't think I'd care. Between the longevity of the units themselves and the relative ease of recycling water (and size of the clean and dirty water tanks), can't see how much you save by spending the cash to build out plumbing to hook up to.

It's not about credit card dispute opening. It's about quality of customer service
