They are a useless intermediary between you and the organizer/airline. Everything takes forever, and they are more of a roadblock than help if anything goes wrong with a booking. Never again!
Still haven't received the bonus from then

Thanks! I don't see it so probably not selected, thanks
This. 8k points whup-d-do you're paying a lot more than virtually any other travel site. Do the math folks 🤣🤣
Asking because adding a 3rd party in the mix when booking travel just presents someone else that you need to work through to make changes or deal with if you have issues. For example, if you book hotels through a 3rd party, to make changes you need to go through that 3rd party. Same applies to cruises (I know first hand).
I just booked a Hawaii trip which was $660 round-trip. Same exact ticket was $780 through Chase.

Agreed. I once booked an international flight and the automatic seat selection put our infant baby on a separate seat away from us (across the isle). Chase said they couldn't help and asked me to contact the airlines. Airlines(American Airlines) said they would charge a fee of $99 or so for each way as it's not booked directly with them (to move in same segment as current one). self change also triggered a fee in AA site. Ended up spending the money!!
If one can find fair price compared to other sites and okay to deal with such issues or probably to book non flight, this is a good deal.

Amazing customer service! I had a connecting flight get delayed - called Chase Travel and they instantly booked me on a comparable flight, refunded me the points difference, followed up with me as promised, etc. English-as-a-first-language extremely nice representatives. No complaints. Great prices too!
Although I realize this is only one person's experience.
But to the person complaining that the automatic seat selection put their infant in a different isle - HEADS UP - its 2024 you have to pay for seat selection. I couldn't imagine having a kid and NOT selecting my family's seats upon booking (on an international flight no less) and just 'hoping it works out'. Then getting mad and bashing Chase Travel when it didn't.
Staying in a cheap hotel is worth -300 for me. So I will stay away from

Since Hyatt points are being devalued as of 3/26, we're booking a few Seattle properties for 15k/night before rates increase next week.
