They are a useless intermediary between you and the organizer/airline. Everything takes forever, and they are more of a roadblock than help if anything goes wrong with a booking. Never again!

Seriously? UR points pretty much have the highest value per point with travel bookings (125% or 150% face value depending on the card you have) or the "pay yourself" back option.

Asking because adding a 3rd party in the mix when booking travel just presents someone else that you need to work through to make changes or deal with if you have issues. For example, if you book hotels through a 3rd party, to make changes you need to go through that 3rd party. Same applies to cruises (I know first hand).

You need a flight or a cruise booking too right ? Just hotel and car rental would get you 7K points i think.
