Took this pic couple weeks ago but forgot to post it. My local Sams club have bunch of Uniden R4s at $289. Just checked and still $289. YMMV still.

Self-driving cars will solve these problems, albeit with some rate of failure, but a fraction of what us chimps are capable of.
Even though this is completely true, the US highway system cannot handle faster speeds. The exits and on ramps would be catastrophic. They were designed with 55-65 mph in mind. These people cannot merge if their life depended on it. It blows my mind how people are allowed or think they are capable of driving on the highway. 90 percent of people cannot stay right pass left. They think the middle and the right is for cruising.
They work as laser jammers, unless you live in a state where laser jammers are illegal. Then you can configure them as parking sensors. You know, or not.
Then Texas issues you a registration sticker that has to go in your window, and you need to get a toll tag to drive on the tollways and has to go in your window, and any business with corporate parking issues you a sticker that needs to go in your window, as does any apartment complex or gated community or college. Don't forget the sticker for your carwash subscription if you have one of those. I think I have like six stickers on my windshield for the various things you need.
